Puzzles and reasoning challenges
Combining objects changes the puzzle board: one move’s output becomes the material for another decision. Each overview separates player actions, state changes and alternative rules. Examples are hypothetical design scenarios, not claims about a named game. A prototype check states an observable question for the next iteration. Existing detailed references remain separately linked from the direction map.

Mechanics and variants
1Merging, combining and growing objectsOverview and example ↗Compatible objects combine into a new state, requiring players to plan both chain growth and available space.4
Mechanic variants
- A matching pair produces the next object rank.
- Triples improve yield but require preparation.
- Chain reactions merge outputs without a pause.
- Generators consume resources and occupy space.
Design example. Three saplings produce a tree, but neighboring cells must be cleared before it can yield fruit. Prototype check: Test a full board: players should see irreversible merges in advance and understand how to clear space.
