Throwing connects direction preparation, release timing and force allocation, scoring where the trajectory ends.

## At a glance

1. The lane defines the throw’s direction and boundaries
2. The ball is held before release

- Connect the result to direction, release timing and spin.

## How it works

Throwing connects direction preparation, release timing and force allocation, scoring where the trajectory ends.

## Variants

### Mechanic variants

- Aiming sets an intended throw line.
- Release timing fixes force application.
- Spread reflects chosen execution difficulty.
- Series allow adjusting the next attempt.

## Design example

A player lowers the next throw's force after overshooting while keeping the successful direction.

Prototype check: Test identical-input repeatability and separately communicate random spread when it is part of the rules.

## Context and limits

Sports mechanics connect execution precision to space, participant state and understandable scoring conditions. Each overview separates player actions, state changes and alternative rules. Examples are hypothetical design scenarios, not claims about a named game. A prototype check states an observable question for the next iteration. Existing detailed references remain separately linked from the direction map.
