## How it works

Plan access to objects and the consequences of their movement.

## Variants

### Variants and applications

- Pushing without pulling. Definition: Place objects on targets, avoiding irreversible jamming. Conventional example: Place boxes on warehouse marks. Terms: Sokoban; sokoban.
- Pushing and pulling. Definition: Take into account different conditions for approaching, capturing and releasing an object. Conditional example: Pull a trolley out of a dead end.
- Pushing the chain. Definition: Transfer movement to several objects in one line. Conditional example: Move a column of stones to several targets.
- Sliding towards an obstacle. Definition: Choose a move taking into account the impossibility of stopping at an arbitrary point. Conditional example: Deliver an ice block to the desired stop.
- Rolling with orientation. Definition: Move the body so that the desired edge or position coincides with the target. Conditional example: Roll the cube with the red edge down.
- Control of an elongated body. Definition: Plan transitions between standing and lying states of a long object. Conditional example: Pass a block across narrow bridges.
- Carry with limited hands. Definition: Choosing what to take, leave and temporarily place when carrying restrictions. Conditional example: Deliver three tools while carrying one.
- Rope connection. Definition: Move objects with limited distance, tension and hooks. Conditional example: Draw a load around an obstacle without tangling the rope.
- Attaching and unhooking. Definition: Change the composition of a moving group by connecting and separating parts. Conditional example: Attach a load to a platform, then release it.
- Change in body length. Definition: Consider how growth or shortening changes traversability and support. Conditional example: Extend a creature to an adjacent ledge.
