## How it works

Consider common commands, different abilities, and reactive behavior.

## Variants

### Variants and applications

- General management of multiple figures. Definition: Using one command, move several pieces with different obstacles. Conditional example: Bring two heroes to different exits.
- Mirror or reverse commands. Definition: Match figures that react differently to the same input. Conventional example: Guide a pair moving in opposite directions.
- Switch managed role. Definition: Select a character with a suitable ability and leave the rest in useful states. Conditional example: One holds the slab, the other moves on.
- Changing the controlled body. Definition: Transfer control to an object, receiving its properties and restrictions. Conditional example: Move into a stationary mechanism to open a path.
- Follow-up management. Definition: Use the rules of pursuit and maintaining distance. Conditional example: Lead a companion through forks with decoys.
- Redirecting the enemy. Definition: Use a predictable reaction from a hostile agent. Example: Lure a guard onto a pressure plate.
- Luring and repelling. Definition: Change the route of agents with signals, smells or objects. Conditional example: Separate creatures into different pens.
- Agent flow routing. Definition: Direct multiple characters by changing the environment or assigning actions. Conventional example: Lead a group through a dangerous area without casualties.
- Positional task with captures. Definition: Obtain a given result through allowed moves and removal of pieces. Conditional example: Perform checkmate in a given number of moves. Terms: chess problem; chess puzzle
- Dividing routes in time. Definition: To carry out several participants, excluding collisions and blocking of passages. Conditional example: To separate trains on single-track sections.
- Creating and merging copies. Definition: Change the number of agents for simultaneous actions, then coordinate their state. Conditional example: Divide a character to press two plates and put them back together.
