1. Both players retain contact while moving the shared phone

- Explain the allowed contact count and handle accidental release gracefully.

## How it works

A rule limits the number, arrangement, continuity, or order of contacts allowed.

## Variants

### Variants and applications

- Fixed hold. Type: Touch. Fingers: 1+. Rule: The finger must remain within a small tolerance. Application: Balance the tool, stabilize the reactor, do not disturb the sleeping character.
- Moving area tracking. Type: Touch. Fingers: 1+. Rule: You need to maintain contact with a moving target. Application: Hold a grip, follow a beam, guide a diagnostic sensor.
- Forbidden areas. Type: Touch. Fingers: 1+. Rule: Touching certain areas violates the condition. Application: Labyrinth with electric walls, disarming a trap, precision operation.
- Breakaway to evade. Type: Touch. Fingers: 1+. Rule: Lack of contact temporarily protects the object or disables its influence. Application: Remove a vulnerable marker finger, skip an obstacle, open a dangerous circuit.
- Waiting without touching. Type: Touch. Fingers: 1+. Rule: Reward or progress appears only after a pause without input. Application: Calm the creature, wait for the image to appear, solve the patience puzzle.
- Touch budget. Type: Touch. Fingers: 1+. Rule: The solution is given a limited number of contacts or the total holding time. Application: Minimize clicks, save device energy, solve a problem with one gesture.
- Order of installation and removal. Type: multi. Fingers: 2+. Rule: Not only the positions are significant, but also the order in which contacts begin and end. Application: Open a multi-finger lock, remove the locks in a safe order.
- Limit speed and smoothness. Type: Touch. Fingers: 1+. Rule: Too fast movements, stops or jerks violate the condition. Application: Carry explosives, guide a pen, perform fine assembly.

## Context and limits

Author's working classification for designing games and interactions. Options can overlap and combine; the list is not a generally accepted standard or proven exhaustive list. Application examples are conditional unless a specific verifiable observation is indicated nearby. Sources support individual techniques and technical limitations.
