## How it works

Mistakes and refusal of the interlocutor create conditions for retrying, correcting the position or accepting the consequences.

## Variants

### Variants and applications

- An irreversible attempt. Rule: An individual solution or test is allowed only once.
- Free retry. Rule: The player can try the answer again without necessarily changing the conditions.
- Repeat after preparation. Rule: A new attempt is opened after receiving a skill, evidence, help or other advantage.
- Failure to continue. Rule: Failure advances the story with a complication or alternative objective.
- Partial compromise. Rule: If the player is not completely successful, he receives part of what he wants on less favorable terms.
- Recovery after an error. Rule: The player clarifies, recalls or corrects an unsuccessful remark as part of a conversation.
- Rewind selection. Rule: The game provides an option to return to the previous decision while maintaining player control.
- Knowledge from another cycle. Rule: Restart or time loop allows you to use information from a previous version of the conversation.
