1. Message history preserves the context of the exchange
2. The reply is chosen within the messaging channel

- Use delays, history and channel status as part of the exchange.

## How it works

Conversation flows across messages and devices, so delivery time, format, and channel access influence decisions.

## Variants

### Variants and applications

- Asynchronous exchange. Rule: The answer comes later, and other actions occur between messages.
- Delayed dispatch. Rule: The player chooses the moment of transmission of an already prepared message.
- Message length limit. Rule: Content has to be shortened or broken up due to character limits or channel resources.
- Confirmation of receipt. Rule: Delivery, reading and non-response become interpretable signals.
- Attaching materials. Rule: A photo, document, record, coordinates or other object is added to the message.
- Loss and distortion of communication. Rule: Interference, delay and interruption make part of the message inaccessible or ambiguous.
- Interception of correspondence. Rule: A third party receives messages, and the player takes into account the risk of someone else's access.
- Public and private channel. Rule: The player chooses the audience of the message and controls who can read it.
